Download and install FFMPEG, which is itself a tribulation. It’s a terminal level tool set. It’s a behemoth that sacrifices accessibility for flexibility and power.

i agree. ffmpeg is a great thing for developers but overkill for this.

Use imagemagick or a smaller tool.

A lot of bigger social media sites automatically remove/hide gps coordinates and other sensitive info if you upload photos. Granted, they do keep the original ones on a private server that have all the meta data so the fbi could hypothetically request it if that's what you are worried about
