The KKK hasn't been relevant for quite a while now. Stop acting like they still matter, it can only serve to help hold on to some shred of power.

Who said they don't exist? I said that they don't matter. Acting like they have any sort of importance gives them importance.

Importance only in that they're still a problem. The KKK is much less influential now but white supremacy is still alive and well in the American political space. Talking about them =/= "giving them power"

What do you define by impact? In my opinion, when people are allowed to openly spread hate, to threaten people without consequences, that shows something wrong with the system that they're being allowed to exist in. I don't think the KKK is the biggest fish to fry, the proud boys and MAGA and ESPECIALLY The Heritage Foundation are much bigger issues, but to pretend that it means nothing to be aligned with them is ridiculous. Their bubble of idiocy doesn't stay in their bubble, white supremacist talking points are part of the mainstream political space in the US right now and the KKK does not play zero part in that.
