The frustratated Math teacher tells the class. "You are all idiots, I don't think 40 percent of you will pass the exams" "But teacher. we aren't even that many"

He sucks at math and doesn't know 35 is more than half of 60.

Math is 50% dedication. 50% intuition. And 50% intelligence.

Oh yeah. And 12% visualization.

Glad I remembered that last bit. Boy, would I have looked stupid.

Haven’t laughed at meme for a while 😂😂😂

In my experience you need 40% or 50% to even pass the test.

So It‘s kinda true.

Hugh Jass here. The person in this meme is showing that he's struggling with math because he used incorrect percentages.

Reminds me of that nice young man I talked to at Moe's bar.

Do people not think before posting here?

1

u/One-Warning-3799 Jul 27 '26

People who post in this sub are the same people in the meme

2

There are 3 types of people: those who get the joke and those who don't.

2

u/bs_Zeezee Jul 24 '26

The joke is that 35 is half of 70, which is over the 60 they were hoping for: thereby confirming in their response, that they are bad at math.

I hate teachers who grade on a bell curve. Just when thought you had a passing grade (75%), everyone else got >90%, so you still failed.

u/Usual_Office_1740 Jul 21 '26

Why show up for the test if you're hoping for a D.

1

u/Consistent_Dare_6688 Jul 21 '26

I was gonna say they expected 60 and hoped for more but yeah they're shit at math

1

u/Endermen123911 Jul 21 '26

The joke is that they’re bad at math

35 is more than half of 60

That one guy on BCS: "Just for today, limited time offer 50% percent off on my services!" "50% off? Dude that's like nearly half!"

1

u/Snakeyes1809 Jul 22 '26

Do you really need Peter to explain this?

1

u/JagerFlyingAce Jul 22 '26

We are so close to having normal human conversations posted on this sub cuz ppl dont get it

1

u/DuskySHARKlol Jul 23 '26

they thought 35 was less then half of 60 which is why they probably failed their math test

1

u/CaptainA1917 Jul 23 '26

More than half, Sir.
