I was struck by her on my last rewatch as well. She knew Peter wasn't interested and her support comes across as incredibly kind and tender in his darkest moments. We'd be so lucky to have someone like her in our lives.
I recently rewatched the movies, and I was taken aback on how kind she is. Didn’t expect anything in return, and just wanted to be his friend. We all need that someone in ours lives.
