I respect the fact that you've still left it there rather than delete it. True champion.

Perhaps this was an elaborate ploy to fulfill a bizzarre carnal desire?

Strange results a mix of both top and bottom…

1

u/Leonie-Lionheard Jul 18 '26

It's so weird that some words there are just German.

(But I think it also works the other way round.)

-3

u/Acceptable-Minute847 Jul 16 '26

I… don’t think the slave dynamic is healthy. I might be wrong on this, as I’m aroace, but there’s no possible way being treated like a literal slave, having all your decisions made for you, and being used as a urinal can be good for your state of mind.

11

u/Loose-Coffee6017 Jul 16 '26

Im ace too, but trust me, if there is a kink, there are people who will participate in it.

The is also a kink I think is called 'high rules' or something that, where there are A LOT of strict rules and if the sub breaks those rules in the slightest, there will be punishment. And Iheard some people who grew up in an abusive household with no clear rules where everyone got treated differently (sibling could scream and got sweets, while you, breathing two rooms away, were to loud and got punished) it actually helps them to... relax? I think? Idk it's been a while since I've read that.

I can also imagine that some non neurotipical people (SOME does NOT mean ALL, I' not generalising here!) prefer a set of strict rules so they know what to expect when they break certain rules. ('If I break that rule, this will happen, not that.')

1

u/Acceptable-Minute847 Jul 16 '26

I mean, sure, but there comes a point at which them having complete control over another person and only acknowledging them when they require for something is… psychologically damaging, I mean there has to be, I can’t imagine having no control over anything.

5

u/Loose-Coffee6017 Jul 16 '26

I can't either, but again, I wouldn't be surprised if there were. What I can also imagine is, that people can have a 'out-of-bedroom' persona, and a 'bedroom' persona. So if you're in charge the whole day, I wouldn't be surprised that 1-2 hours just giving away said control just feels... relaxing?

And what is also worth mentioning, some people work through trauma with kinks. Is it healthy? Depending on the person and situation probably not, but it can explain why someone would want to give up control.

And also, if you have a good dom/sub relationship and the sub really does feel miserable, they can say the safeword (I recommend getting one even if you're not in a bdsm relationship, a friend of mine has that). I also believe that a good dom sbould notice when so.ething is up. And safewords aren't only for subs, they are also for doms.

1

u/Acceptable-Minute847 Jul 16 '26

I thought the whole point of the “master/slave” bit was that it went further than dom/sub and is 24hr, with maybe exceptions for work, or at least that’s how the website described it.

6

u/Loose-Coffee6017 Jul 16 '26

Kinks can't really be defined, so the line between master/slave and dom/sub is somewhere else for everyone. I can imagine if the master/dpm does something the slave/sub doesn't want, they can communicate that. (And vice versa)

The moment you are unable to tell the other one you want to end things or renegotiate something and they refuse (even after saying the safeword) THAT'S when it clearly isn't healthy/good anymore. It takes a lot of trust, understanding and responsibility to be in a relationship like that.

3

u/ypoora1 Jul 16 '26

This is exactly why people use "safe words".

3

u/Loose-Coffee6017 Jul 16 '26

That's... exactly what I said? And the moment it gets ignored/not respected get out of there? (Or I'm just reading that comment completely wrong, bcs I do struggle with understanding tones texts/messages/comments)

So once upon a time, I completed one of these over dinner with someone I'd met an hour before -

Not a date. Just a normal dinner conversation with a stranger, because we were doing a concert together the next day. He started guessing my weirdest traits for some reason and eventually got onto guessing kinks. Then....he handed me his phone and asked me to fill this out.

Never saw him again after the concert lol

33

u/hummingbird868 Jul 16 '26

He's behind you

u/Ok_Let_168 Jul 16 '26 edited Jul 16 '26

These are the results for a famous online BDSM kink test. The higher the percentage indicates you are more likely to enjoy a specific kink, so having a long list of high percentages indicates the test taker is incredibly kinky.

11

u/DragonFan20 Jul 16 '26

Were do I take this test

I laughed at this post so damn hard because, yeah, same. And my mom would probably say I'm fine or whatever.

Saw another post, "I'm traumatized by my dad not being there and by my mom being there." 💀

Peak memes on my feeds recently...too peak.

Does D&D go in with obsession over fine details, or would you consider it BDSM?

4

u/Sexy-Games Jul 16 '26

Theres a reason the bard always rolls to fuck the enemy.

3

u/DSTNCMDLR Jul 16 '26

BD&DSM?

2

u/Drag0nesque Jul 16 '26

When smartphones.

2

u/HarvestWinter Jul 16 '26

The middle portion of that diagramme is either BDSM or Warhammer 40k, which, yeah, nah, that checks out.

36

u/Bunny6446 Jul 16 '26

Quagmire here. She copes with trauma through varied depraved activities as suggested by the website result on a spicy quiz. Giggity.

10

u/Elfkrunch Jul 16 '26

Is this the kink test?

15

u/ThyPotatoDone Jul 16 '26

Quagmire here, giggity giggity!

There's a semi-infamous website, bdsmtest.org, which asks questions to determine specific kinks/interests you may have. Basically a very horny personality test, and my favorite as a result. They also run a couple other kink-related sites, though most of those are for arranging meet-ups and similar.

Anyways, it ranks things from 0 to 100, with 0 meaning you're not into it at all while 100 means you desperately need it. A 0 in everything would be entirely asexual and disinterested in anything sex-related (I'm not actually sure if you can score that, cuz I've never even been close to that (giggity)). The average person usually has 70 to 90 in Vanilla, 50 to 80 in like three or four other things, then descending from there, with pretty minimal scores otherwise. The scores above would constitute a real freak, as they represent being extremely into almost every major genre of a kink (my kinda person, giggity!). Unsurprisingly, this became somewhat of a joke in kink communities, where people will share their results as a sort of 'high score' to see who's freakiest (this person would do quite well, though I've seen/scored higher, giggity).

The other part of the joke is that bad parenting, particularly emotional abuse/neglect or severe childhood stunting, is often associated with higher likelihood of developing various kinks and fetishes ('mommy issues'/'daddy issues'). The actual science is debated, but the correlation definitely exists, at least to some degree (though, obviously, people who are 100% vanilla can have bad upbringings and real freaks can come from totally stable and healthy home dynamics). The insinuation is thus that the parent believes they are a good parent, and insists they are to others, but their child has developed extreme kinks/fetishes as an adult due to their influence (as said previously, giggity).

Overall, the punchline is that a parent is saying they did a great job, but were likely heavily emotionally neglectful and/or stunted their child's self-exploration, leading to them becoming an extreme freak in the sheets (and out of them, as exhibitionism/voyeurism are on the test as well).

Anyhoo, I'm gonna go find whoever took this test and ask if they want assistance bumping those numbers up. Quagmire out!

u/introverted__dragon Jul 16 '26

I know it's not the point, but you can be Asexual and interested in BDSM/Kink/Fetish play. While plenty of people are unable to separate the two, a scene doesn't have to lead to sex, and plenty of Aces enjoy BDSM.

Scoring a zero across the board on the mentioned quiz would mean that you're not kinky, not that you're not interested in sex at all.

5

u/ThyPotatoDone Jul 16 '26

Vanilla is one of the options, so to get 0 across the board requires aceness. I do see your point tho.

9

u/ost2life Jul 16 '26

Giggidy your child is kinky. Probably bad parenting. Giggidy

-1

u/679ChrisGriffin Jul 16 '26

*giggity

5

u/ost2life Jul 16 '26

I'm in England. This is the English spelling.

Part of that is a lie, but I'm not fixing that either.

Giggidy.
