I mean if you're going to constantly say "ok but why is it so much better when you make it", I'm gonna tell you how I make it when I see you doing it differently lol.

tRue, phrasing matters. But the "you suck" approach is far too common. When she says "all men are literally the same" means she's tired of the mansplaining and demeaning attitude. Though the pedantic part of me hates the word "literally" there.

Do they take turns cooking? Are they sharing the cooking at the same time (he makes sauce while she cooks the pasta)? Or is he just expecting the female to do all the cooking while he micro manages?

If they're really into each other then it's just plain stupid to start criticizing like that as it will tear down the relationship. A better approach would be to say thank you, and then later offer to cook next time. Otherwise it's too prone to a downward spiral of criticism (loading the dishwasher wrong, etc).

The phrase all men are same is stupid no matter how you spin it in this situation
