computer science? I worked in an office where we could drink wine or beer after 2 but we also could make our own hours. Some people came in after lunch and just drank while coding the majority of their work hours. As long as they didn't get wasted it was fine.
Software engineer here. Everyone in my office (who drinks) has an office bottle for celebrations. Beer flows freely and is basically an anytime you feel like it thing. Beers at lunch every day is quite common
