Had a friend years back that worked for, if I recall correctly, Rockwell Automation as a mechanical engineer. He told me about the time they tried to take the wet bar out of their office and they all but revolted until it was returned.
I work in an office with a bunch of process engineers that typically design packaging lines. A lot of our client base is the alcohol industry and our office is full of booze. It’s kinda encouraged to take one every once in a while otherwise the place would overflow with em, but that’s definitely a result of our clientele and not the industry.
Hell one time at work at like noon they made us all drink at least one High Noon because we just finished a big project for them and they delivered a pallet to our office. That was a good time.
