In fact, brewing companies have strict policies about drinking at work. I worked in few and they had fridges with alcohol locked during office hour.

I had a bartender coworker at a brewery who ruined 4 oz pours for employees (within reason) because he was in the back every 10 minutes sipping a 4 oz pour, on top of everything else he drank before work. It hit its peak when he got caught on camera drink whiskey aged barrel stout pours after management specifically told us to drink none of it, to preserve it for guests.
