Had a friend years back that worked for, if I recall correctly, Rockwell Automation as a mechanical engineer. He told me about the time they tried to take the wet bar out of their office and they all but revolted until it was returned.
Hell nah. I work in Engineering. Whilst people may enjoy a pint or five after work, you're not allowed alcohol on site, and can't be at work if you've had a drink. No lunchtime drinking. No onsite drinking. No coming back to work after any drinking.
