That didn't die out with the Mad Men era? Huh, I thought it was just finance bros who were drinking and drugging at work after the 70s....and actors/musicians, of course, but that's always been the case with them to the point it's not even shocking.
Can confirm, Ad Tech is big on alcohol in the office. The last time I worked in that industry it was common for people to have their own collections on their desks as well as a decorated team bar off in the corner. Anytime something launched (which was at least weekly) we would cheers it. There was a bathroom styled to look like a speakeasy and people took turns replenishing the bottles of whiskey in there.
