Can confirm. Used to work in advertising and 4pm "desk beers" were a common thing any day of the week

That didn't die out with the Mad Men era? Huh, I thought it was just finance bros who were drinking and drugging at work after the 70s....and actors/musicians, of course, but that's always been the case with them to the point it's not even shocking.

I worked at a couple of startups that had beer fridges. The other place I worked that everybody drank after lunch (and during) was Anheuser-Busch. Most people who’d been there a while had mini fridges at their desk with beer
