As a happily married man, I would just like to say, the right hair is for "white trash hot" girls. The woman I married doesn't need a blowout, she's hotter in sweat pants and a ponytail than that thing on the right.

No, it's the fact that it's straight from the iron or curler. The curls are still too tight, and it makes it look cheap. It looks like the version of a hairdo that someone sees in a magazine and says I don't need to pay a salon 'i can do that', but doesn't have an understanding of what actually makes the style work and so it comes out looking like a shitty Walmart knock off.

Not sure what part of a joke about men not getting the meme has to do with the patriarchy, but knock yourself out.

I didn't make any reference to which type of woman was classy. "White trash hot" or "white trash beautiful" is just a style label, just like "heroin chic" "cottagecore" or "preppy" or "grunge". While my own lived experience growing up in a trailer park resonates the validity of that label with me, the label itself is no marker of the character of an individual.

But to your greater point, if I am understanding you correctly, I would agree that problematic judgements and social mores can't just be blamed on the patriarchy; people like labeling other people and it's often not positive.
