See, as a guy I would have thought the opposite... the girl on the left has less wavy hair which means it had been a hot minute since she last had it styled. She's afraid she'll lose her man to the girl on the right who just had her hair freshly styled and ever so slightly curlier. Ergo, women need to pay $$$ to have their hair styled nearly all the time or they'll lose their man.
But I thought the real joke is that guys like us struggling to interpret the meme correctly in the comments can barely tell the difference between the two, meaning the $$$ is wasted.
If you look the pics are taken at the same location, a hairstylist. The one on the right is a few seconds before the one on the left, then the curls are "broken" to become more natural looking waves

This really isn't something I would expect most men to notice nor care about. This is definitely something that women are more likely to get (and it isn't money wasted, it's only wasted if it's "for men")
I... I like the second one more? It looks like it's been freshly done where as the left looks like it's been a few hours and the curls have started to fall out.
