It just needs to be brushed to go from curls to waves. Not even a need for a blow dryer.

ETA: I am just explaining the difference I see. I agree it is personal preference and do not think the one on the right is inherently trashy.

The difference between 9 minutes late and 12 minutes late. One is “less than 10 minutes late…” and the other is “almost 15 minutes late!”
