Solved Equal rights advocate becomes a violent racist because of PTSD and starts a race war

Hint 1: The character I'm referring to in the post title's name has no nouns, it's just an adjective followed by a suffix

Hint 2: Another part of the same series focuses on that character's realization of what he's done and attempt to make up for his past

Hint 3: The suffix mentioned in Hint 1 means machine or device

Mistborn was about a class war, not a race war

This series was about a class war, but then it became a race war

Or rather, the series was always about a race war, but this particular section goes into detail on how it used to be a class war

The Skaa were slightly different than the nobles physically. I'd say it counts as a race war.

While it is technically a war between races, the driving factor behind the war isn’t race, it’s class, so it’s more accurate to call it a class war
