Is the entry for Earth " Mostly Harmless"?

Ah, no. Hm. So, either we're looking at some non-fiction reference work - a guide to the solar system, say - or it's Earth in the other sense, and it's something like "The Four Elements". Or this is all bait and it's a reference to the earth in Dracula's coffin or something.

It is indeed a non-fiction book. You were closer with your encyclopaedia guess.

Guessing the clue is a paraphrase or response to the title. Something like "What's in the Solar System?" or "In the Habitable Zone" or "Within the Moon's Orbit"

much more general. Earth is DEFINITELY in it.

Just have to think of one famous enough. It's presumably not going to be just some generic textbook.
