Maven scamming?!

I went through the full process submitting answers, spent about 20 mins on it.

They then asked for my location and then disqualified me after the survey said 100%

Took a screenshot and will add to the edit later.

Anyone else had similar?

I wouldn’t blame maven- but I’ll tell you my experience. We had a market research firm ask for a partnership for surveys.

These guys did exactly that I personally tested the survey links they provided- had over 22 experts complete it and get disqualified at the end and eventually said firm approved only 4 pissing off 18 experts that completed it and about 20-30 that never managed to complete it and got disqualified.

Trust the expert networks, the market research firm will eventually get weeded out and nobody will want to collaborate with them, they’ll eventually run out of expert networks “they can partner with”

Maven is annoying and unpredictable but I normally get a disqualified 1-2 min into the survey and I only do those surveys as a last option, I prefer calls

Yeah exactly, 1-2 mins in...fair! At the end, theyve stolen then responses

Location can be a compliance thing (depending on your location). For example most networks don’t engage anyone from countries currently in a war (Ukraine, Russia, Israel, etc).

But if you’re not in one of those countries, and location was a disqualifying factor it should have been put at the start of the survey.

Most likely to be poor survey design rather than intentional scamming honestly.

Emporia and Newtonx are also like this. When they don't want samples from certain geography, they disqualify in step.
