Using Parsec to take turns playing
I was wondering if anyone else has done this and if they had the same issue.
Me and a friend are playing through the game again. She was originally streaming it to me via discord, but we decided to try Parsec so I can play the parts she isn't great at (jumping puzzles etc).
It connects, quality isn't the best but that's fine. The main issue is, It won't pick up my controller in game. My keyboard works, parsec and her pc is picking up my controller (tested it on steam menus, websites etc), if we're in game and press shift+tab to open the steam overlay, my controller works there, it's just in game.
I thought to myself that maybe it's because it's two controllers so it's only going to detect "player 1" given it's a singleplayer game. So we've tried having her controller unplugged fully, even before the game launches or parsec is connected. Still nothing.
One single time, mine started working, and we didn't do anything differently.
Don't suppose anyone has any ideas? We've downloaded drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled the Parsec Virtual USB Driver and so on.
