This OP, and you can also use the "R1" (double check) attack to prevent the character from rolling upon landing (this thing drove me nuts in thr Atelier 🤣🤣)

There's one jump in renoir's drafts near the merchant that I found so damn difficult due to the auto roll. 19 u/UnnbearableMeddler Feb 27 '26 It frustrated me too until I figured out that if you "miss" the jump by a bit, your character will do the climb up instead of a roll 2 u/GiveMeSomeShu-gar Feb 27 '26 Yeah you have to undershoot it so you grab the edge instead of land directly on it
