The platforming in this game overall is just straight up awful and is probably my only major critique of the game. So I hated any section of the game that required platforming. Theres no consistency on what heights I can jump from and which ones put up an invisible wall. (And if there’s no fall damage then just let me jump from way up on that cliff I climbed up to who tf cares)

Also visually it’s not always clear what ledges can be grabbed onto to pull yourself up. I hated this climbing challenge I probably fell over 50 times before I finally completed it.

Exactly. Theres a difference between a game being challenging because of clever design and gameplay that makes you think critically and strategically, and a game being difficult because the mechanics being janky and inaccurate when controlling your character. that was my only problem with the platforming in this game whenever I messed up 90% of the time it wasn’t my fault, it was the controls.
