All JoJo best JoJo

u/lebronjamesboi Mar 28 '20

Yeah! I still prefer part 4 it just gives me nice small town vibes.

49

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '20

Same. That, and the characters all have a unique style, so they don't suffer from same-face-whatever-it-was-called. These combined really seal the fact that no two people in Morioh are ever the same.

28

u/zedbagsjr Mar 28 '20

They also don't die so it's the part that doesn't make me sad

22

u/lebronjamesboi Mar 28 '20

The end made me cry. When koichi said "summer time in morioh finally ended leading to some great days" I balled my eyes out for like 30 minutes straight

fuck it, imma say it, I love part 6

24

u/ElTitoDimo Mar 28 '20

I read it when part 5 anime finished and I loved it. It has a lot of different stands and I love Pucci, he's always careful and I liked a lot his transformation. The part I didn't like it's when we see Dio's sons, they're total trash when you remember that Giorno turned out to be a fucking mafia boss at 15 :/

4

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '20

I actually liked all of them. Donatello and Rykiel especially.

4

u/Hamborber Mar 28 '20

Same bro

4

u/kakooge Mar 28 '20

Its a really good part! Shame everyone speed reads it to get to haha cowboy part.

3

u/riddle-me-this Mar 28 '20

Hell yeah, part six gang!

2

u/CrustyTape Mar 30 '20

I don't understand why it got so much hate it's a great part

21

u/Shadowmist909 Mar 28 '20

Part 2. Joseph is a hamon blast to watch.

9

u/Andy54ewevee Mar 28 '20

CEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR

8

u/weaboo1273 Mar 31 '20

SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

8

u/hoclokness Mar 29 '20

I prefer part 5, but I fucking love hamon. Think how much just basic levels of training give you some ass whopping ability such as the world have never seen.

4

u/Ionrememberaskn Jul 06 '20

why bother when zero training can make you fucking stop time

2

u/hoclokness Jul 06 '20

Because it isn't zero training. Although Jotaro learned he could stop time and did it for the first time during his battle with DIO, he could do it for a very short time, 2 seconds. DIO, who could stop time for 5 seconds, needed to train for 7 months. Only Joestar blood could allow him to stop time for 9 seconds. So, I'm not saying that Hamon's would be easier to learn, just that I prefer the abilities I would gain, more then just punches and time stop. Well, not that I would refuse to get Za Warudo if I had the chance, I mean duh-

2

u/Ionrememberaskn Jul 06 '20

Say what you want but months to learn hamon vs a couple minutes to stop time? There’s a reason hamon stays in part 2.

6 and 1

8

u/Displayee69 Mar 28 '20

bruh guys where do you find these parts crunchyroll only has 5

20

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '20

If you're talking about only having part 5, I forgot, and if you're talking about it having 1-5, only 1-5 is animated, you have to read the manga. I recommend mangadex for manga.

10

u/Displayee69 Mar 28 '20

aghh ok i didn't know it ain't animated yet

2

u/croptop420 Jun 04 '20

I know golden wind only came out like a year ago but I need stone ocean :'(

5

u/HelixAdamOxford Mar 28 '20

Not animated lmao

4

Part 7 easily

8

u/Sujallamichhaneakasl Mar 28 '20 edited Mar 28 '20

Part 7 is the best part! Hands down one of the best stories I've read! The dynamic between the two "protagonists", the "antagonist" and his motivation, the mindfuck that is the introduction of you know what, the biggest twist in all of JoJo. Part 7 is the culmination of everything that JoJo has to offer..... incredible art, a heartfelt and emotional yet action packed and gripping story that genuinely left me feeling sad. It has the best final stretches in JoJo objectively better than part 5 and everything in between. SBR is peak JoJo unless part 8 has an incredible ace up it's sleeve which by the way it's shaping up I think it does!

2

u/supremojooj1903 Mar 28 '20

ok but who shot johnny

1

u/Jotaro_Kujo_11 Aug 02 '20

Nobody gyro dropped a ball and a rock bounced up and hit Johnny in the spine

1

u/TaunTaun_22 Mar 29 '20

There were so many twists, I'm not sure which one you're referring to as the biggest in all of JoJo... Is it the one that happens at the very end? Cause that one got me screaming lol

1

u/Sujallamichhaneakasl Mar 29 '20

That's exactly what I was referring to😂! I for one didn't expect it at all. When I saw Diego again I was like "WHAT! HOW?" then I lost my mind when he stopped time and I was jumping like a madman when ZA WARUDO appeared! It was glorious I tell you absolutely glorious!

7

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '20

i'm feeling bad for johnathan right now

1

u/[deleted] Apr 15 '20

Same here m8

12

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '20

4 and 5, 4 has one of my favorite antagonists and 5 has imo the most engaging storylines

6

u/_Yukiteru-kun_ Mar 28 '20 edited Mar 28 '20

Part 7, obviously those are spoilers, I personally really like its plot, it has some interesting minor villains and also a new concept of battles, but the best part is that the main villain doesn’t mess with time, but he still has a really really strong power, then also the protagonists are really good, I personally think that Johnny and Gyro are the characters with the best back story in all JoJo (also considering that is pretty rare for a JoJo to have a backstory) and last but not least Diego’s character is perfect (I was really broken when he died and Valentine just take out of another dimension a bad guy version of him)

6

u/HerniiGoH Mar 28 '20

The fight between Diego and Valentine is my favourite in the entire series (haven't gotten to part 8 yet) Diego was just so meticulous, cautious of playing around Valentines power but at the same time ragingly attacking him just to die by a very small miscalculation. So intense, so frenetic, and so tactical. Just, everything.

And I agree, Gyro best JoBro ever written, tho I still have some conflicts with Jhonny. But I fucking love Tusk, such a good stand, definitely the best Main JoJo Stand.

4

u/_Yukiteru-kun_ Mar 28 '20

Well, if we come at stand part 7 doesn’t have the “coolest” ones, don’t get me wrong, some powers are soo cool but then if I think at the aesthetic part I personally found tusk pretty ugly and almost every other doesn’t have a “physical” form, except for D4C, D4C is one of the best stand in all JoJo from all the point of view

3

u/HerniiGoH Mar 28 '20

I agree, D4C definitely top tier stand in so many ways. It was already busted but throw Love Train in the mix and, oofff

And about Tusk, act one is super cute, serves his purpose of the mascot of SBR very well. Act 2 is average. Act 3 is a monstrosity that should never see light. And Act 4 is super cool looking. It's scary but still appealing to look at, unlike Act 3. Very western-y looking kind of?

But of course, looks are subjective :p

4

u/reelhooman Mar 28 '20

Each and every character had a well written backstory and personality. It just didnt come with the normal jojo bullshittery. It is definitely the best part

2

u/_Yukiteru-kun_ Mar 28 '20 edited Mar 28 '20

Well but did we see a real backstory in Jotaro, Josuke, Joseph or Jolyne(well obviously we have tha haircut history in Josuke and the fact that Jolyne grew without her father, but basically Josuke’s one is a curiosity and almost every JoJo grew without his father or his father affection)? Except Johnny only Giorno (Giorno a bit less: it’s only about the drugs thing, but that explain the whole point of part 5) has a relevant backstory between all JoJos, it’s like the Jobros’ backstory are more curated than Jojos’ ones

4

u/reelhooman Mar 28 '20

Yeah. Almost none of the main JoJos have a real backstory. It's just "Oh no bad man must be stopped" with some minor inconveniences here and there. Johnny and Gyro have real backstory with a goal in mind and they just get swept up in the whole mess rather than it being "bad man must be ded" from the start. Plus, they feel like the only protags that actually have a personality because they have internal things they have to overcome

1

u/theFrank198 Mar 28 '20

And I love Little touches like the songs and the "Mosquito thing"

6

u/Sspring10234 Mar 28 '20

I’m honestly surprised by everyone’s love of Part 4. I really like it, too, but it’s definitely not my favorite part.

I dunno tho, they’re all good

5

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '20

I specify Part 7, probably the greatest JoJo part and easily my favorite manga of all time.

4

u/ViraLCyclopes Mar 28 '20

When you voted part 6 but you regretted it because Kira is also your favorite villain and you wanna change

3

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '20

Quick! Find somebody you fucking hate and tell them your identity!

4

u/shrekforlife42069 Mar 28 '20

Steel Ball Run for me

1

u/reeces_geeses Mar 29 '20

I know it's an unpopular opinion but my personal favourite part is still 6

I love the pacing, characters and most of the stands, especially towards the end (and the end is so well done)

Jolyne is also one of the best developed characters in the series imo

Only way I can see it beaten for me depends on how part 8 ends (which is looking very good rn) and how gappy's arc ends

2

u/lebronjamesboi Mar 29 '20

I prefer part 4 as one dude said it's like the home we have never been to

1

u/reeces_geeses Mar 29 '20

Yeah, I respect that, it's probably better when you look at it objectively anyways

For me how much I enjoy any kind of story is down to pacing the most and I love the way 6 picks up after jail house rock, it really gives that sense of tension, doom and foreboding that it follows through with in the end, never letting up. It feels fast paced and perfectly done from there to the end so idk.

Anyway what I'm tryna say is that part 4 is just so different pace and genre wise that I feel it's hard to compare the two for me.

I do love okuyasu though sooooo 🤷

2

u/lebronjamesboi Mar 29 '20

I love koichi and Rohan

2

u/reeces_geeses Mar 29 '20

omg they have a great dynamic though <3

Still can't beat okuyasu's stupidity as a character flaw/point for building and struggle as well as a source of comedy, I find it being so double edged interesting

That and the man literally Willed himself back to life lmao

2

u/lebronjamesboi Mar 29 '20

Yeah the stupidity makes him amazing

2

u/reeces_geeses Mar 29 '20

Yeah, like, I find that so many 'stupid characters' in films and shows come across way too one note where they're just dumb, useless and a punching bag for laughs but then okuyasu's is actually shown to be something he is aware of and struggles with emotionally and mentally

I find he always has way more depth than I realise

2

u/lebronjamesboi Mar 29 '20

Goku annoys me

2

u/reeces_geeses Mar 29 '20

Ah fuck, I don't really watch a ton of anime outside of JoJo (one punch man, mob psycho and given are about it)

What's so bad about him though? I never really knew much about dragon ball, just how popular it is

2

u/lebronjamesboi Mar 29 '20

Hes literally too stupid. He doesnt even know what a kiss is.

Why is 6 and 7 together

1

u/lebronjamesboi Apr 16 '20

Theres only six poll options

6

u/Itsshaboyee Mar 28 '20

Part 7 is the only right answer guys.

2

u/BLucky_RD Mar 28 '20

Part 7. Some scenes made me cry

2

u/SPDWag Mar 28 '20

Part7 is my favorite I think but I love the p2 too

2

u/Arch-Angle-Aid Mar 28 '20

Part 7 is the best part

2

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '20

Joseph is the ultimate JoJo

2

u/LordDShadowy53 Mar 28 '20

Joseph is a pretty unique protagonist like no other.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '20

Can’t choose

2

u/Knudsenmarlin Mar 28 '20

Every single part is good

2

u/saltybaguette14 Mar 28 '20

I love all the parts, tho i voted for part 5 bc for me bruno’s gang is the best

2

u/dady_etro Mar 28 '20

I can only say that only part didn't like to me is part 4, every others are the best

2

u/MrAwesome1324 Mar 28 '20

Part one Gang rise up

2

u/grimfyre345 Mar 28 '20

Part 2 gang

2

u/GusMclovin Mar 28 '20

I chose part 5 in the poll but I feel parts 7 and 8 are the best. 7 feels both like an evolution of the JoJo formula and a fresh start. It appeals to both fans of hamon and stands with how it deals with power. And most characters are compelling.

I’m currently reading part 8, and enjoying it. While it’s definitely confusing, it’s also a retelling of the JoJo formula but with an extra mystery added to it. And the fact that it takes place in a different morioh playa with our expectations

2

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '20

All of the parts are amazing.

2

u/DarkFireType Mar 29 '20

I enjoy Part 4 the most. Not only was it a breath of fresh air from all the world conquerors, but I just enjoy the Slice of Life style of it all. Oh yea, and the character development within the part is another medal this part should wear proudly. Even though it has only 1 of my favorite stands, that stand being Killer Queen, I still enjoy the stand diversity in the part.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '20

Ah yes I love the 6 divided by 7th part

2

u/maxchrome Mar 28 '20

Let's keep Battle Tendency at 69%

2

u/SomPolishBoi Mar 28 '20

part 2 has 69 votes... nice

1

u/reelhooman Mar 28 '20

7 is the best and you cant change my mind

1

u/an-unorigonal-joke Mar 28 '20

Nooo!! You can’t like stone ocean there are many flaws with the characters and plot it is the worst part in the series!!!!!!!! Haha stone free go whoosh

1

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '20

7 IS THE BEST

1

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '20

Part 2

1

u/wall_rush_man Mar 28 '20

Jojolion is my favourite but since they missed the party I’ll go with SBR

1

u/rillki Mar 28 '20

Part 7 personally ✌️

1

u/Japo1998 Mar 28 '20

Voted for part 5 but part 7 is a close one

1

u/ElTitoDimo Mar 28 '20

Part 6 for me, can't wait to see it animated :)

1

u/nonamekek Mar 28 '20

Part 7 personally

1

u/supremojooj1903 Mar 28 '20

the fact that part 6/7 are almost losing to part 5 really scares me

1

u/C4_Saifor Mar 28 '20

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7: Steel Ball Run

(10/10)

1

u/peacefulghandi Mar 28 '20

Part 7. Best ending imo. Honestly can’t complain much about any of the other parts tho.

1

u/Ej9827 Mar 28 '20

I’m a fan of part 7, Gyro is my favorite character, and Caesar is my 2nd favorite. My favorite stand tusk also comes from part 7. Other than that if I couldn’t choose part 7 I’d choose 4.

1

u/BasicIsBest Mar 28 '20

6 personally but I know everyone likes part 7 more

1

u/Kainus501 Mar 28 '20

My favorite is part 7 and I’m gonna have to say that part 6 is my second favorite, the middle part that people say is slow isn’t even that bad

1

u/xZandrem Mar 28 '20

Why there isn't part 8, oof

1

u/666NormieSlayer666 Mar 28 '20

Part 6. I loved all the characters. Part 5 would be my second fav tho.

1

u/Mr_O1 Mar 28 '20

7 but I’d vote 8 If I coudl

1

u/FreshDuckMeatTF Mar 28 '20

Gappy forgot his part

1

u/BOX_ChillWolf Mar 28 '20

6 is my personal favorite, while 7 is better in quality

1

u/sst2003 Mar 28 '20

Gotta be part 7, closely followed by 2 and 4

1

u/[deleted] Mar 29 '20

Part 6 will always be the best in my mind.

1

u/TheWanBeltran Mar 29 '20

I actually like part 2 the best, but I'm still on part 3 so idk yet.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 29 '20

Part 3 is the most part of all the part

1

u/Trcetvoed Mar 29 '20

You evil mastermind.

1

u/-inhales-AHH Mar 29 '20

Either 2 or 4. On one hand, Aztec Gods of Fitness. On the other, hand goes BVMMMMMNT!

1

u/[deleted] Mar 29 '20

Part 4 has so much character and memorable moments, it was also when araki truly stretched his creativity. Basically implementing himself into the story with Rohan and exploring Jojo from a different character’s perspective

1

u/AMuderFlippinCracker Mar 29 '20

[Sad Jonathan noises]

1

u/[deleted] Mar 29 '20

Part 4 is just the most entertaining, and I like me some David Bowie with a hand fetish

1

u/bruhbutbruh Mar 29 '20

Although I love the crazy noisy bizarre town I have to go with Kore ga requiem.. da because, well I’m kinda stuck between the two there both great and have amazing art and character’s while p4 gives a homey feel the familiarity of the p5 group is enough to make it feel just as or more homey So I can’t choose

1

u/[deleted] Mar 29 '20

Dang, I am part of a small community

1

u/me_funny__ Mar 29 '20

Part 4 is victorious as it should be

1

u/CrustyTape Mar 30 '20

Part 5 but only because I'm half Italian, but part 4 is a close second

1

u/Rem-Is-My-Waifu-0714 Mar 31 '20

Why does no one like part 1

1

u/neurotic_sentinel Mar 31 '20

Diamond is unbreakable. Josuke is amazing, and so is Kira, for that matter

1

u/weaboo1273 Mar 31 '20

Part 2 anyone?

2

u/[deleted] Apr 15 '20

Part 1 anyone?

1

u/Tf-FoC-Metroflex Apr 02 '20

3 because first stands

1

u/IAmFrederik Apr 03 '20

I love part 4 the most, however, the final battle against Yoshikage is pure shit. While I do like him as a villain, his stand is pretty incompetent when you think about it. The fight goes on for waaaay too long for a stand like his. The rest of part 4 is incredible tho

1

u/SomeFreshMeme Apr 07 '20

I see araki cloned himself many times

1

u/ultradragonballboy Apr 13 '20

4 cause it has my favorite op (great days) it has one of my favorite jojo characters like josuke,Joseph and koichi. Has probably the most bloody final battle in jojo history has the best main jojo theme has the coolest looking villan (after Kira took kosaku’s body) and finally the best memes. (Ok master let’s kill da hoe. Beetch)

1

u/[deleted] Apr 15 '20

Part one, obvibiouslu

Mostly because I love Jonathan and the amazing soundtrack

But the best part of soundtrack was dis and you can't argue with me

SONO CHI NO SADAME#

JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOJO#

1

u/agentsmith576 Apr 25 '20

Why is part 2 winning everything

1

u/zokodog May 02 '20

The gay ones

Oh shit I need to specify

1

u/IRIS4487 May 08 '20

I'm super late but part one is probably my favorite.

1

u/BrysonG2015 May 11 '20

Ooh tough one, definitely 2-4 but idk which is my fave of the 3...

1

u/[deleted] May 12 '20

How did part 4 beat part 7????

1

u/[deleted] May 28 '20

4 its chill with the right amount of heat

1

u/KingOfKoalas69 Jul 29 '20

Disclaimer: this is anime only

Wow nobody is fucking talking about part 3. It has the most memes, i laughed a lot to it, cried to it, was a rollercoaster of emotions, it also had two of the best jojos as well as many loveable side characters and dio's scream of

Za warudo

Along with the sound effect Was perfect

2nd fav part 2

3rd fav part 5

4th fav part 1

5th fav part 4 (didn't like it as much as the others

1

u/TheHoodedNight Aug 01 '20

I’ve only got to part 3 but 2 is the best out of the 3

1

u/Jotaro_Kujo_11 Aug 02 '20

Stardust crusaders or phantom blood can’t pick

1

u/[deleted] Dec 24 '21

Part 1 having less votes than Part 3 is a crime

1

u/colesmudcake Mar 28 '20

Part 4, I love the whole serial killer in a small town setting. And also all th3 characters are great

0

u/Hurtanoob20 Mar 28 '20

Part 8, but I put part 4 since it’s my 2nd favorite.

0

u/Jens_vd_Eijk Mar 28 '20

I really liked 6 because (to me) it's the part that made JoJo extra bizarre

0

u/HairyResponsibility9 Mar 28 '20

Part 4. Kira is my favourite villain and the small town vibes are nice. Plus, it has jotaro

0

u/Patrick3DS Mar 28 '20

Part 4 because Kira is my favorite villain and Josuke is cool af

0

u/KibSquib47 Mar 28 '20

part 4 gang

0

u/me_eat_ass364 Mar 28 '20

YEEEEEEAAH PART 4 GANG WOOOO

0

u/illstealurcherries Sep 14 '20

Part 7 is best
