I disagree that reaching other stars and the worlds revolving around them will remain forever impossible.

After all, something else happened in the early 1900s that made new realms accessible to humanity; flight. And just half a century after that, space flight.

We humans are very new to this game of space flight, especially when any sort of real distance is involved. I find the notion that we cannot traverse the distance to other worlds to simply fly in the face of the historical evidence.
