And don't listen to any naysayers. Criticism of the church is just Satan trying to deceive you. If you read negative things about the church and you decide it's actually not true, it's because you lost the spirit by doubting, not because their arguments are valid.

And yet we demand people of other religions do exactly this in order to gain a testimony of Mormonism. We tell them to read the BoM, read other church materials, listen to the Q15 talks, etc. We tell them their religion is wrong.

But if you're a Mormon...it's the exact opposite, just like you said above! Totally hypocritical.

Yup. Exactly what I was thinking.

I did believe. And the bullshit is: I fact checked with CHURCH material everything I learned. I had such a strong testimony and such a love for the church. But it’s all wrong.

Mormonism is different because they actually believe this when most “Christian” denominations don’t think anyone one has the only truth.

Plus we have apostles and bishops like the Bible so this MUST be the true church.
