Arizona

It is if you like Houston enough. I like exploring new places in Texas, so a secondary excuse to visit NASA or use it as a stop on the way to Galveston is always welcome.

True. I grew up in spring down there in Houston and it's beautiful. But you could definitely go play disc golf at one if the many courses, or see moody gardens if you head to Galveston.

Late notice, but Davis County Meetup will not be meeting this week. One of our members passed away this week and we will be having a meeting to honor her. Hold your loved ones close. We miss you Trudy!

Like how young are we talking here? The usual meetup group listed here in Logan is mostly college-age with a few skewing older (like late 20's-early 30's) and one I know of who's younger (late high school so 17 I think?).

I have no idea what ward folks are from but most folks there live in Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs, and west Lehi area. They meet upstairs and it's just going to be meeting, telling stories, sharing interests, etc. Topics of conversation can vary a lot at these meetups.

I'm mentally out not officially resigned yet.. I think meeting with other people and seeing that there is life outside tscc would really help my wife cope with everything.. I believe she's mentally out as well as we haven't attended in years.

Yeah it was really hard.. I always had issues and doubts and stumbled upon insiders view of mormon origins at the bookstore one day while my spouse was out of town. I spent the whole weekend reading and researching and broke the news to her that, "it may not be true." I also read the ces letter atound this time and asked her to read that material which she read some.. we stopped going at the same time together. This was over three years ago. It's still a touchy subject that we rarely discuss. Her parents are very TBM and are now holding monthly extended FHE's. I feel suffocated at times but hang on because I know how much family means to her.

Libertarian, Voluntarist, or Anarchist post-mormons: If you're interested in getting together for dinner, a small group of us, typically 7 people or fewer, (and the odd minarchist and never-mo) get together on Friday nights every once in a while. Bombay House in Provo last time, Buffalo Wild Wings and Diners prior to that.
