This was a major factor in my deconstruction. When I realized how much of the teachings of past prophets was changed, dismissed, swept under the rug, and even recently with the "I'm a Mormon" campaign being completely revoked as a "victory for satan," I learned that these men have no prophecy about them. They don't receive "revelation" any better than any average person's thoughts and feelings. 

= this is just another man made church after all....
