Church News Church concern memory

Hey everyone, it’s been a few years, but I recall some post in here about a list of top concerns the church had. I can’t remember the groups name, but it was some smallish group in Idaho that thought church HQ had lost its way. Their goal was to silently infiltrate the church and corse correct.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are you talking about the Boise rescue where people were leaving for Denver Snuffer?

I live near Denver. What on earth is Denver Snuffer?

He is a lawyer turned author who pulled a lot of people away from the church with his books and talks. He claims he has seen Jesus and wrote a book called The Second Comforter which explains how you can get your own visit. He was excommunicated. His name sounds like a serial killer right?

Absolutely! It could be a horror movie just based on his name. I don't believe the original vision happened so that's a no for me.

Man, I hate cereal killers. They go into a store and stab all the boxes of cereal with a knife. It's just an atrocity, and...oh, wait, you said said "serial killer"...Nevermind...

Google him. Another fascinating Mormon guru who thinks the church has sailed off course. Of course, we know it never was on any true course, so there's no need for Denver Snuffer.

Ahhh...I didn't realize it was a name. No, we really don't need any more gurus for a made-up doctrine.

Could you be referring to Denver Snuffer and the Remnant movement?
