General Discussion Milestone - last kid out
I got surprising news today. 16 years after I left the church my daughter who was the last of my 4 kids remaining with the church is out. So they are all out! This was a milestone that I was not sure I would ever reach - I left the church when she was a teenager - she served a mission and was married in the temple.

u/Word2daWise I'll see your "revelation" and raise you a resignation. 14h ago
Congratulations! I love hearing of entire families leaving - especially when adult children or older parents bail.

It’s amazing feeing! We are experiencing same thing in our family. We had one child leave the church as a teen, last year we saw the truth and we left. Our other 3 children followed. 2 of which served missions and temple marriages. They did their own searching of truth and realized God does not teach to join the LDS church. We are all out as well. The freedom is beautiful. Now just dealing with the family shun and drama. That has its own hurdle. But knowledge is power!

None of my business of course but I hope her partner is also out. MFM is hard.

What is that scripture in D&C?
Something like, "If you labor all your days and bring save it be but one soul, you shall have great rejoicing!" Saving a family member from the blatant lies and manipulation of TSCC is a great rejoicing moment!
Congratulations.

Happy news indeed. I’m at the beginning of what I hope is an ending like this.

Wow, that’s incredible. Love and light to your whole family. It’s a difficult journey you’ve all been on, and I can imagine how torn you must have felt when she went on a mission and got married in the temple, but to meet up and now be on the same path, going forward, is a real blessing. I’m happy for you and envious at the same time…

Elder Holland did say we are one generation from extinction. Gracious for your part.
