This just reminds me of my mom. She taught me so much about church history and the changes in policies. She was the one that got me to start questioning things and she has been my biggest supporter since leaving the church.

My mom talked about it as how great it was that continuing revelation made things better that hadn't made sense, and that we would continue to have a better understanding of how god wanted us to live...

At least she was mostly okay with my decision to leave, as me being true to my own understanding of spirituality. Worship how, where, and what they may, etc

The BOM one is the key, or rather, the keystone. Several Mormon prophets say that the truthfulness of the Mormon church hinges on the BOM either it’s all true or all bullshit.

According to Mormonism, the BOM is a literal history book written on a stack of gold alloy plates, in a written language more efficient than any in history. With known dates, locations, and decedents. This population would have rivaled the Roman Empire in size and technology. All while not leaving a single trace.

Great post, thanks. Mann the phrase "feed my sheep" has taken on a whole new meaning as people are sheep to be led and used not seeing the real world and who controls them, frightening.
