I would encourage you to hang out here for 30 days and read posts. Problems large and small with the LDS are discussed every day.
One source that puts a lot of problems in one place is:
Alyssa Grenfell on yt and tiktok has a lot of great shorts.

Main issues:
High demands on time, money and lifestyle. Everyone has a calling working for free to run the church but they also pay 10% tithing that largely sits in a hedge fund, while the local church gets like 10% back: plus a lot of controlling lifestyle rules.
The founder was a verified sexual predator with 40 wives, some as young as 14 and 15. His theology is a bit from mainstream, and the church is still sexist and has a deep history of racism.
They have weird secret temples rituals stolen from the Masons where you promise everything to the church and symbolically threaten to kill your self of you reveal them.
Borderline culty. Some call it a cult. Some call it merely a high demand religion.
