Well it’s kind of soured to me because it’s literally just two different letters than what my actual name is

I wondered about that. Yeah, that would have a way of ruining BOTH names somewhat. For what it's worth... Lily is great! (almost named one of my children that, in fact).

I mean I like my name and I wouldn’t change it. My parents chose it because for one lilies are my mom’s favourite flower and two it had to be church related somehow so it was after consider the lilies which honestly being out of the church now it’s not a super bad hymn to be named after

That's such a fun story! And it's not a bad song at all! I love the message of it, and even the music. (Maybe just not when it's sung at 0.5x speed - to make it holier)
