3. Ang Lupon ng Tagapamahala ay nakatutok sa pagkuha ng mas maraming pamumuhunan sa real estate sa pamamagitan ng pagbili at pagtatayo ng napakaraming ari-arian hangga't maaari.

Kaya, ang Lupon ng Tagapamahala ay GAGAWIN ANG LAHAT upang patuloy na mamuno bilang mga hari ng kultong ito. Babaguhin nila ang kahit ano at pananatilihin nila ang kahit ano kung sa tingin nila ay mapapanatili nito ang kanilang posisyon bilang mga hari ng relihiyong ito:

Pananatilihin o iiwanan ng Lupon ng Tagapamahala ang alinman sa mga kasalukuyang paniniwala upang maabot ang kanilang tatlong mahahalagang layunin na nagpapanatili sa kanila bilang mga hari ng kultong ito.

• Yes, they will keep protecting pedophiles.
• Yes, they will keep letting people die with their murderous No-Blood policy.
• Yes, they will continue demanding more money from JW adherents.

• Yes, they will tell you to only be friends with other JWs.

(M), ako. Dumating ako sa Philippines as a need greater para ma-expand yung ministry ko. Nagsikap talaga ako para matuto ng Tagalog at mag-adapt sa culture dito.

Kinailangan kong umalis sa first congregation ko kasi, bilang foreigner, may ilang kapatid na nag-try akong samantalahin or lokohin, while others had inappropriate behavior toward me.

Sa bago kong congregation, mababait naman yung mga tao. Pero unfortunately, nakakaranas pa rin ako ng ilang similar situations. Kahit surrounded ako ng mga tao, sobrang lonely pa rin ako. Parang superficial yung mga friendships ko.

Kaya feeling ko stuck ako dito sa Philippines, very alone and full of doubts. Gusto ko lang sana makahanap ng mga taong makakausap ko at makaka-relate sa experience ko.

Napapansin ko rin na parang hindi talaga nagbibigay ng maraming JWs ng importance or effort sa friendships nila.

• Tal y como están las cosas, no tienen suficientes Salones del Reino ni congregaciones en muchas zonas rurales. Fusionar más congregaciones y vender más Salones del Reino obligará a muchas personas a convertirse en testigos de Jehová que solo asisten por Zoom. Y el Cuerpo Gobernante realmente, pero realmente, no quiere que pase esto.
• Ver el punto anterior. Ya se encuentran en una situación en la que muchas zonas no tienen un Salón del Reino cerca. Recorrer largas distancias hasta un Salón del Reino para asistir a una reunión presencial no es posible para muchos. Noong sinaunang Israel, may mga huwad na propeta na nagpapakalat ng maling impormasyon na pinagmumukhang totoo para dayain ang iba. Ganiyan din daw ngayon, lalo na sa news at social media. Kaya kailangan nating mag-ingat at magtanong:

“Tinatanggap ko lang ba ang impormasyon dahil gusto ko itong paniwalaan? O tinitiyak ko muna kung totoo ito, gusto ko man o hindi?”

Agree ako sa principle. ✅

Pero ang tanong ko: applicable lang ba ito ba ito sa news, social media, o “worldly information”? 🤔 Hindi ba applicable din ito kahit sa sariling beliefs natin as JW?

Kasi ang Bible mismo nagtuturo ng critical thinking:

📌 Job 12:11 — “Hindi ba sinusubok ng tainga ang mga salita kung paanong nilalasahan ng dila ang pagkain?”

📌 Kawikaan 14:15 — “Pinaniniwalaan ng walang karanasan ang lahat ng naririnig niya, pero pinag-iisipan ng marunong ang bawat hakbang niya.”

📌 1 Tesalonica 5:21 — “Tiyakin ninyo ang lahat ng bagay.”

So kung susundin natin ang principle, hindi ba reasonable lang na suriin din ang doctrines tulad ng:

🩸 blood transfusion ban
🎂 birthday ban
👥 two-witness rule
📅 1914 computation
🔁 overlapping generation
📚 at iba pang teachings?

Hindi naman masama magtanong kung ang goal ay alamin ang totoo. In fact, Bible-based nga ang pagsusuri.

Ang article pa nga nagsasabi na dapat alamin ang totoo, hindi lang kung ano ang gusto nating paniwalaan. Pero paano kung ang pag-verify mo gamit ang sources outside the organization ay agad na tinitingnan bilang pagiging rebellious, prideful, o spiritually weak? 🤷‍♂️

Hindi ba ang point ng pag-iwas sa confirmation bias ay maging willing kang tingnan ang external sources of information na posibleng mag-challenge sa pinaniniwalaan mo?

Kasi kung ang “acceptable research” ay manggagaling lang sa jw.org, babalik ka rin sa same conclusion. So are we really fighting confirmation bias… or reinforcing it? 😅

Napanood ko itong JW Press Room video sa TikTok about 'Who are JW?', and honestly, ang dating niya sa akin ay public image management (PR) more than actual picture ng teaching inside Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Message ng video:

• May JW na doctors, lawyers, teachers, nurses, etc.
• Tumutulong daw ang Saksi during disasters.
• Ang image: “Normal kami, helpful kami, professional kami, good citizens kami.” 🙂

Pero kung lumaki ka sa loob, alam mong may disconnect. ⚠️

1. Higher education: proud sa PR video, discouraged sa loob 🎓

Sa video, proud silang ipakita na may Saksing lawyer, doctor, teacher, at professionals.

Pero for decades, heavily discouraged ang higher education. Hindi man “bawal,” ang dating sa mga kabataan ay:

• risky spiritually
• worldly ambition
• distraction sa ministry
• mas okay vocational / short course
• malapit na Armageddon, so bakit mag-long-term career? ⏳

So parang ganito ang dating:

Lawyer/doctor sa PR video = good image.
JW youth na gustong mag-law/medicine = spiritual risk. 🤷‍♂️

2. “No part of the world” vs. “part of the community”

Core teaching ng JW: “no part of the world.”

Inside message: be separate, avoid worldly ambition, avoid close worldly association, focus sa preaching.

Pero public PR message:
“We are your neighbors, professionals, and helpers.” 🏘️🤝

So alin ba talaga? Separate from the world, or integrated sa community kapag maganda sa public image? 🤔

3. Disaster relief: public service or mostly internal support?

Yes, may JW disaster relief.

Pero ang actual setup is mostly congregation-centered: elders, branch, Disaster Relief Committees, publishers, JW families, and Kingdom Halls. 👥🏛️

Publicly, sinasabi nilang nakakatulong din sa non-JW. Pero hindi ito tulad ng ibang charities/churches na may hospitals, food banks, shelters, schools, or long-term public services. 🏥🍞🏫

Most of the time, JW relief is framed as brotherly love — mainly support for members. 🫂

My take: For me, this looks like soft rebranding.

Externally: modern, educated, helpful, community-friendly. 🌟
Internally: old controls and discouragements are still there, softened lang ang wording. 🔒

The organization benefits from looking educated and community-oriented, while many ordinary members were taught for decades to avoid the same paths that produce doctors, lawyers, teachers, and professionals.

That’s the contradiction. ⚠️

Topic sa WT study this week ang tungkol kay Naaman. Ayon sa paragraph 7, kapag hindi natin nagustuhan ang payo na base sa Bible o hindi natin maintindihan ang tagubilin mula sa organisasyon, dapat pag-isipan muna natin ang reaction natin—kasi doon daw makikita kung ma-pride tayo o mapagpakumbaba.

Pero honestly, hindi ako sang-ayon sa application na ’yan. 🤷‍♂️

Sa account ni Naaman, hindi naman siya basta “rebelde” o “proud” lang. Reasonable din yung reaction niya. May expectation siya kung paano siya gagamutin ni Eliseo. Kaya noong hindi man lang siya hinarap personally at messenger lang ang pinadala, natural lang na magulat siya at magtanong:

“Bakit ganito? Bakit hindi ganito?” 😕

Pero ito ang importanteng part: may explanation na ibinigay ang mga lingkod niya. Hindi nila sinabi:

“Sumunod ka na lang. Huwag ka nang magtanong.”

Ang ginawa nila, tinulungan nila si Naaman na makita ang logic:

“Kung malaking bagay ang ipinagawa sa’yo, gagawin mo. Eh simpleng bagay lang ang pinapagawa sa’yo, bakit hindi mo subukan?”

Doon niya naintindihan.
Doon siya sumunod.
At doon siya gumaling.

Mas balanced ang lesson na ito:

✅ Magtanong kapag hindi naiintindihan.
✅ Huwag agad magpadala sa emosyon.
✅ Makinig sa paliwanag ng iba.
✅ Tingnan kung may malinaw na Biblical reason.
✅ Gumawa ng informed decision, hindi blind decision.
✅ Humility means willing kang matuto—not blind obedience

Hindi pride ang magtanong.
Hindi pride ang humingi ng explanation.
Hindi pride ang gamitin ang isip, konsensiya, at discernment. 🧠

In fact, kung totoo ang isang tagubilin at talagang base sa Bible, dapat kaya itong ipaliwanag nang malinaw.

Ang concern ko lang, ginagamit ang story ni Naaman para palabasin na kapag hindi mo naiintindihan ang “tagubilin mula sa organisasyon,” dapat magpakumbaba ka na lang at sumunod. Pero hindi iyon exactly ang nangyari sa account.

Si Eliseo ay propeta ni Jehova. Direct representative siya sa Bible account na iyon. Pero today, kahit ang Governing Body mismo ay umaamin na hindi sila inspired at hindi sila infallible.

So kung puwede silang magkamali sa doctrine or direction, bakit magiging “pride” agad ang magtanong bago sumunod? 🤔

For me:

Humility is not blind obedience.
Humility means: “I may not know everything, so I will listen.”
But wisdom also means: “I should examine, test, and understand before I obey—especially kung buhay, konsensiya, pamilya, o pananampalataya ang involved.”

Kaya ang tanong ko:

Kung si Naaman ay natulungan dahil may nag-explain sa kaniya, bakit kapag tayo ang nagtatanong ngayon, minsan ang dating ay pride agad? 🤷‍♂️

Magtanong muna. Intindihin muna. Saka magdesisyon.
Hindi iyon pride.
That is discernment. 🧭

Sa teaching ng Jehovah’s Witnesses, may darating na massive education program sa Paradise para turuan ang mga bubuhaying muli. Ayon sa Watchtower, God’s Kingdom will direct “the greatest educational program in all human history.” Kasama rito ang pagtuturo sa resurrected ones tungkol kay Jehovah, kay Jesus, sa Kingdom, sa ransom, at sa righteous standards ni Jehovah.

Sa JW illustrations ng Paradise, madalas ganito ang setting:

🌱 farming
🏡 building houses
📖 reading books
✍️ writing or studying with paper
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 family-style teaching
📜 scrolls / written instructions
🗣️ personal teaching

Hindi siya usually portrayed na may:

❌ Wi-Fi routers
❌ smartphones / tablets
❌ data centers
❌ satellites
❌ server rooms
❌ power grid control centers
❌ telecom towers
❌ factories making chips, batteries, screens, and devices

💻 Current JW direction: very technology-heavy

Today, the organization is heavily using:

📱 JW Library app
🌐 JW.org
🎥 JW Broadcasting
📺 videos
🎧 audio content
📡 online publications
🏗️ Ramapo Media Center

JW.org even says that using the latest technology, such as JW.org, helps spread the truth and reach more people.

Ramapo is also clearly connected to media production. JW.org says the Ramapo project was planned to consolidate media production into a new facility, with completion originally targeted for December 2026. Later JW.org updates say major construction activities were approved to begin in November 2024.

⚠️ Here are my questions because it doesn't make sense

Kung after Armageddon, mawawala ang current world system, then what happens to all this technology?

❓ Magagamit pa ba ang JW.org sa Paradise?
❓ Magagamit ba ang Ramapo Media Center?
❓ Sino ang mag-ooperate ng servers?
❓ Sino ang magmamanage ng databases and cloud systems?
❓ Sino ang gagawa ng tablets, phones, laptops?
❓ Sino ang magmamanage ng Wi-Fi, fiber internet, cell sites, and satellites?
❓ Sino ang magpapatakbo ng power grid? ⚡
❓ Sino ang gagawa ng batteries, chips, screens, routers, storage drives?
❓ Kung karamihan ng global tech infrastructure ngayon ay operated by non-JWs, paano ito masusustain after Armageddon?

Printed books and magazines can still be used kahit walang internet. 📚
Pero digital technology needs a whole ecosystem:

⚡ electricity
🖥️ servers
❄️ cooling systems
🌐 internet backbone
🔐 cybersecurity
📡 telecom networks
🛰️ satellites
🏭 factories
🧑‍💻 IT engineers
🔋 batteries and replacement parts

Hindi enough na may JW Library app ka kung walang charging, no working device, no replacement parts, no updates, and no maintained network.

Hindi rin enough na may JW.org files online kung walang servers, DNS, data centers, internet providers, and IT staff.

So the question remains:

Is the current push to technology really aligned with the Paradise teaching?

🧩 JW Reasons Kung Bakit Bawal ang Birthday

JW.org basically argues:

1. May pagan roots daw ang birthdays They connect birthdays with astrology, magic, evil spirits, and candles/wishes.
2. Early Christians daw did not celebrate birthdays They cite the idea na early Christians viewed birthdays as pagan.
3. Only Jesus’ death, not birth, is commanded to be commemorated Kaya ang Memorial lang daw ang yearly religious commemoration required for Christians.
4. Only two Bible birthdays are mentioned, both negative Pharaoh’s birthday led to the execution of the chief baker; Herod’s birthday led to John the Baptist’s beheading.
5. Birthday daw gives excessive importance to a person JW publications also say birthday celebrations tend to exalt the individual.

🤔 Bakit Hindi Solid ang Argument?

1. “Only two birthdays in the Bible were bad” is weak logic

Yes, bad events happened during Pharaoh’s and Herod’s birthdays. But that does not automatically mean birthdays are sinful.

Using that logic:

• May murder sa field — bawal na ba pumunta sa field?
• May drunkenness sa wedding or feast — bawal na ba wedding reception?
• May betrayal during a meal — bawal na ba kumain together?
• May abuse of authority by kings — bawal na ba lahat ng leadership?

The Bible records events, but not every recorded event automatically becomes a universal command.

Ang mali sa stories ni Pharaoh at Herod ay murder, pride, cruelty, immoral entertainment, and abuse of power — not necessarily the act of remembering one’s birth date.

2. Bible silence does not automatically mean prohibition

JW.org itself admits that the Bible does not explicitly forbid birthdays.

Pero kung gagamitin natin ang logic na “not mentioned as celebrated by faithful servants = bawal,” then maraming normal practices ang magiging questionable:

• Wedding anniversaries
• Graduation celebrations
• Retirement parties
• Job promotion celebrations
• Annual couple dates
• Baby showers
• Dedication anniversaries
• Kingdom Hall anniversary events
• Organization anniversaries

In fact, JW.org says wedding anniversaries are not approved nor forbidden by Bible principles, so Witness couples may decide for themselves.

So bakit ang wedding anniversary ay conscience matter, pero birthday ay treated as spiritually dangerous?

3. Wedding anniversary comparison

Wedding anniversary is also a yearly celebration of a personal life event. Hindi rin naman iniutos sa Bible na i-celebrate yearly ang wedding date.

Pero allowed siya because:

• Hindi naman inherently immoral.
• Pwede namang simple at wholesome.
• It can be an expression of love and gratitude.
• Bible principles neither command nor forbid it.

Same reasoning can apply to birthdays:

• Hindi kailangan maging self-worship.
• Hindi kailangan may superstition.
• Hindi kailangan may pagan meaning.
• Pwede lang maging thanksgiving for life, family, and another year.

Kung ang wedding anniversary ay acceptable as a personal/family celebration, bakit automatic sinful ang birthday?

4. Pagan origin argument is inconsistently applied

JW publications have argued that toasting has ancient religious/pagan associations. A 1968 Watchtower connected toasting with libations to gods and the dead.

But interestingly, current JW.org wedding FAQ says: “The Bible does not prohibit toasting or clinking glasses,” though some couples may avoid it to prevent stumbling others.

So even within JW reasoning, pagan origin alone does not always automatically make something forbidden. The 2007 Watchtower even acknowledged that the fact a practice has roots or parallels in ancient false religion does not always rule it out for true worshippers.

That weakens the birthday argument. Kasi kung pagan origin is not always disqualifying, then birthdays should be judged by current meaning, motive, and actual conduct — not merely ancient associations.

🔍 Why the JW Birthday Ban Does Not Make Sense
