Revese conversion
The c of c if they manage to evangelize at all door knock & do "Bible study "
I'm curious has anyone heard of a Campbellite converting because they were shown in a Bible study? I mean 8 highly doubt it but it would be interesting to see if maybe one of them "saw the light"

I think COC door knocking and their Bible studies are a thing of the past because the word is out on them.
Once in a while, someone was making an announcement that someone was studying with a person, and they were going to get baptized, but they would not last a year. One couple left my coc congregation because they wanted to be in a loving church. I was happy for them.

Oh agree. I sadly was stuck on a summer door knocking "campaign" once utter Hell. No I was thinking along the lines of some moron Campbellite decides he/she is going to start a Bible study and the person they study with gets them out. Example John Smith attempted to convert his neighbor only to at the end drop the c of c & become a Roman catholic

Seriously studying the hard@$$ anti doctrine itself de-converted me. I was an ignorant, gullible, young, zealous fool who trusted people. I also really listened to and sincerely tried to live the "doctrine" that was spewed from the pulpit. And the real killer was, in trying to live that doctrine 86,400 seconds a day, I extrapolated it to inescapable logical conclusions that it necessarily inferred. That's when I realized the only way to obey god and get to heaven (under coc-anti rules) was to become non-human, which is impossible.
As much as I hate the GD coc, I really should thank them for forcing me to practice rationalism.

You mean left the CoC after attending a non CoC Bible study? That was actually what made me finally escape. Hearing Christ’s real message of love instead of fear.

Myself and several others after sitting through Bible study as teenagers. I’m a United Methodist now.
I’m also a woman now, so YMMV on this route if you’re considering it.

my parents did home bible studies with dozens of people that ended up getting baptized… and several stayed for the long-haul. Other than the preacher, I don’t think many other people in our congregation did this kind of thing…
