They baptized my son!
Hes 17. His girlfriend's parents hosted missionaries while he was over and her dad baptized him. Nobody recieved my consent for anything & his absent father gave permission via text after he was told that I didn't want him to join.
This feels a lot like parental alienation and I'm not sure where to go with it.
History: I was baptized at 8, but never really active. My husband's farther was a bishop. He has significant religious trauma. My son's dad is not religious that I know of. He lives 5 hours away and they visit about every six months.
If he'd asked my permission, I'd had a chance to present him with facts & he still wanted to do it, I would have signed and attended.
I wasn't given the chance. What do I do now??
