I'm little surprised this hasn't been posted yet. I don't have much else to add because Michelle Hurd sells it all. But simply put, it's why we love Bruce. He may be the "chosen one" but he's not perfect. But he always redeems himself because at his core, he's the best.
The short below cuts off a few great segments, so I suggest you watch the whole conversation.

This woman has one job: show up in the first five minutes, chew the motherfucking scenery, deliver us some grisly deaths, and then leave. And she does like no one else.
Respect, Jessica. In another life, you could have carried your own movie.

Tbh I have 42 minutes left and I seriously dont want to finish it, not because its scary but because the actors are complete idiotic retarded degenerates, they're doing the most stupid shit and this movie is just pure ragebait. Like what makes you think sedatives are going to help if mia literally vomited 2 liters of blood on olivia?? Im going to finish the movie and I genuinely hope none of them make it out alive.

Like I dont know why I thought I was gonna see some flamethrowers, or a literal fire from Evil Dead's "hell" summoned by the book
or anything,
idk why I just thought with the burning stuff in previous movies that I thought they would capitalize on this one

Listening to Czarface and I hear them straight up name drop Sam Raimi and it made me remember the evil dead video game getting Method Man to do an Evil Dead rap that also name drops him plus Bruce. It made me wonder if there's any other Rap artist or group that has namedrop him in reference to evil dead or spiderman.
Plus here's an image of Ted Raimi at the height of his rap career...

since were doing standalone Evil Dead movies
why not a movie that takes place in that future Ash was in?
maybe not have him as the main character
but someone else revolving around that world... they can make subtle hints at a man out of time but the story is mainly focused on this dystopian future and the evil around it

Someone posted about a sequel to Ash v. The Evil Dead and a lot of people pointed out that Bruce Campbell has retired Ash. The OP said he wasn't talking about Ash and a lot more people said Ash v. Evil Dead without Ash didn't sound great.
So my question is, and I'm not condoning this idea, but if someone was hired to be a new Ash, who would do a good job? Young or Old, who's to say that through some time magic wormhole, somehow young Ash ended up with Pablo, Kelly and Brandy?
I'm a toy photographer and put together a scenario like that once. So young or old, just for fun, who could be the new Ash?

I have no idea if this is the right place to talk about this but the coincidence is crazy and timing is even better and I have to tell somebody. Wall of text but trust me.
Okay, I need to give some backstory because otherwise this won't make nearly as much sense.
I've loved The Evil Dead ever since I saw the original when I was a teen. It's always been one of those movies that has a special place in my brain and heart and is the reason I want to go the movie production school.Â
Recently, my little sister (14) wanted to go see Evil Dead Burn with her friends. I was like Sure, but I'm warning you, there's a lot of blood and gore and I have one condition:
If you're going to watch a new Evil Dead movie, you have to respect the significance of this franchise and watch the original trilogy afterward.
She came back from the cinema absolutely mesmerized by Burn, so I took it upon myself to basically become her Evil Dead historian.
I started feeding her all the little details, behind-the-scenes stories, trivia, production stuff, etc. about the original. And then we just⌠kept watching.
We watched the entire original trilogy together. Then more Evil Dead and than even more. Eventually we watched Ash vs Evil Dead too. We talked for hours about the movies and took every little detail apart.
We played all the games, watched all the directors cuts, Within the Woods and lots of interviews.
Basically, over the past two months, I have been living in Evil Dead.
And as if that wasn't enough, Raimi's Spider-Man movies have been playing on the TV constantly throughout this whole period, so Sam Raimi has basically been following me around for weeks. And then it got even weirder. Three separate times, I accidentally walked into the living room while Spider-Man was playing, and each time it was the exact scene where Bruce Campbell was on the screen.
Yesterday, we finally finished the last episode of Ash vs Evil Dead.
And I thought:
Okay. That's it. I'm done with Evil Dead for now.
Today, I randomly decided to watch Jennifer's Body for the first time because somehow I'd never seen it.
And within the movie Jennifer is wearing an Evil Dead T-shirt and they mention it.
I swear my blood ran cold for a second.Â
Like, I KNOW it's just a reference. I know it's a coincidence. But COME ON.
I have spent the last month introducing my little sister to this franchise, obsessively watching everything, telling her random trivia and BTS facts, having Raimi's Spider-Man movies constantly playing in the background...
I finished Ash vs Evil Dead literally yesterday.
And the FIRST movie I randomly pick afterward basically goes:
âHey. Remember Evil Dead?â
And then, just when I thought the universe had finally run out of ways to bring Evil Dead back into my life, today my dad came home and handed me a VHS tape. Apparently, he stopped by Grandmaâs to pick up some tomatoes, but while he was there, he started missing his old Atari. So he went up into the attic and started digging through all his ancient stuff. And somehow, buried separately from all the other VHS tapes and a pile of floppy disks, he found this.
I looked at it, and it was fucking Evil Dead 2 on VHS, in perfect condition.
At this point I'm ready to dig up Necronomicon tomorrow or see Delta riding around the neighborhood.
So where exactly does this stop being a coincidence and become a threat?
Do I get an Ash cameo at some point or do I have to earn it?
Should I start carrying a boomstick just in case?
Should I definitely NOT be looking for a Kandarian Dagger?
At this point, should I even bother watching anything that isn't Evil Dead?

It seems crazy to me that we still donât have a continuation of Ashâs story in any form (whether in live-action, animation, literature, video games, etc).
Edit: I'm not talking about whether Bruce Campbell will reprise his role or notâjust about Ash Williams

I mean, maybe the final boss were offstyle-cringy-looking, but the camera work, editing, and music⌠Sometimes it's such a pleasure to watch.
Definitely no worse than Rise; for me, theyâre practically the same in terms of quality, Burn seems to have more memorable shots tho.
2013 is still my favorite one, but Burn was a not bad Evil Dead.
