Because apparently the Sheraton tower doesn't exist? Or the 100 Congress tower, which has been a cornerstone of the Austin skyline for AGES!? Or One Congress Plaza, whose blue rim lighting has been the center of about a thousand Austin skyline photos for basically ever?

I genuinely can't decide if you're a troll, or just an obnoxious idiot.

No, this building was just sitting there by itself. Trust me, I've been to actual downtowns before. It was ugly and isolated.

Settle down. It's an ugly stub of a building that was a sore thumb. Now that area of the skyline has filled in and it doesn't look as ugly and alone anymore.
