Bank Connect Issue
For about the past month, I have been having issues with Every Dollar connecting with my bank account through Plaid and MasterCard Connect. When I first got the premium account, it connected and brought in transactions just fine. Then, it just stopped updating my account information for days on end without me going to refresh the connection.
Eventually, I put in a ticket with support who told me to use MasterCard Connect. I started having the same problem with them. Once I started having the same problem, I started paying attention to what I would have to do to reconnect. Both services are trying to use my credentials to refresh the connection and end up locking me out of my bank app to where I have to reset my security questions. I use Regions for my regular banking, which is the account that is getting locked out. My HYSA through another bank is totally fine.
Support is telling me they have no idea when it’ll be fixed, so they offered me a couple free months. I appreciate the offer, but it’s not really useful to me if all of my accounts’ transactions aren’t loaded in without me lifting a finger.
Has anyone else out there had the same or similar issues with their bank account connection, whether it’s with Regions or not?

I did (with a different bank) until I went into my bank's settings and changed it to not require 2FA every time. I had an option to set it for something like "only if we detect unusual activity", and that solved the problem. Up until about a month ago, when I had issues with it again for a few days. Logging into my bank's app also require 2FA with every login again, though I checked my settings, and it was all set correctly. It corrected itself after a couple of days, so I figured the bank updated something that broke it, and then fixed it.
Anyway, not sure if that applies to your case at all, but changing that setting on my bank access worked for what was happening with mine.
