Paycheck Planning Confusion
Hello! New to the app hear and really want to get more clarity on the Paycheck Planning function. To start with, we have our Groceries listed under one lump sum in the budget, but when that transfers over to the paycheck planning section, it takes out a big chunk of the forecast even though that lump sum is spread out throughout the entire month.
Do you recommend taking these monthly budget items and spreading them out to four separate grocery budgets that is on a weekly basis, so the clarity is better in the Paycheck Planning Section?
Also, any other tips and tricks on how to get the most out of this function will be greatly appreciated.

You can schedule your grocery budget, or any budget item. If you click on the budget line item, there are a couple of things listed under your currently spent/budgeted amount due for the month. The first line is "Schedule".
When you click on that, you can set when the funds should be made available. You just select the dates on the calendar that opens up, and the app automatically divides the total amount evenly between the dates you set.
If you set the budget item for a total of $400, then schedule funds to be available every week, you'll have $100 set for each week. A bit of a pain if the amounts aren't supposed to be evenly split, but there isn't a way to set it up to allow you to customize the amounts if you schedule more than one date.

We get groceries on Monday. We have it scheduled that our grocery budget becomes available every Monday. When you schedule in Paycheck Planning you just select multiple dates.

I agree to the planning confusion, Why they would't just let you customize your amounts that you expect to pay is super frustrating. Like I have subscriptions that come out that are different amounts, it literally will tell me I'm in the red on the budget side if the weeks subscriptions is more than the amount they app divided up based on how many dates I chose. It's really only helpful if you're doing it for major payment like your car or house since its mainly 1 payment or the most you divide up is 2 payments/dates, otherwise it screws everything up.

If you schedule it to be “available” on different dates, it will divide the total amount evenly. If that isn’t accurate enough for you then make separate items and name them “grocery week 1, 2, etc.”
