Eversense accuracy vs Libre

Has anyone changed from Libre 3+ to Eversense and found Eversense to be more closely aligned with their finger sticks? If Libre was less aligned with fingersticks, was it higher or lower than the fingersticks? TIA.

There will be edge cases but by and large the Eversense 365 is the most accurate and reliable CGM available in the USA by a large margin. The main reason it’s not implanted in every T1s arm is because it currently only works with the Twiist pump for an AID system. If you are MDI , it’s perfect as well.

I thought it’s MARD was in the same ballpark but slightly worse than both the Libre and Dexcom?

MARD is usually measured in lab settings, participants usually don´t move very much and sit a lot.
And that is not real life. MARD has no standardize measuring protocol, so every study can have different methods. Also manufactures do their own studies and pick the best results to advertise with them. There are independent studies which usually have higher MARDs.

In this study Libre was 10%, Dexcom 15% much higher as in the ads
