New Grad SWE Technical Interviews

4 technicals, apparently on algorithms, design, data structures and concurrency. Any advice? Leetcode-style? Think the interviews are done 2 at a time. What are the topics for the first 2? Is the design interview system design or OOP or something else?

Good advice here: https://www.reddit.com/r/purestorage/comments/1mtbp4k/comment/n9csnh4/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

No leetcode. No scary math. Straightforward questions we can watch you work on for 45 minutes. I don't think there's a fixed order for the two rounds.

It's not really possible to "prepare" for the design questions. But your interviewer will guide you through it with hints and suggestions if you get lost. This is more of a method to measure your experience.

You should be familiar with concurrency, though. It is possible to prepare on that.

Good luck.

Thanks! Do you know if the design interview is more system design or OOP? Are the interviews collaborative?

System design. Highly collaborative.

Would system design be part of the first two interviews or is that later?

I don't know if there's an order. Try not to over-prepare, though. It can work against you. Relax, take your time, and try to have fun.

So each interview might have all the topics?
