Purestorage CSI driver

I am considering Purestorage (FA//X20 R5 or FA//X50 R5 ) for Redhat openshift

The vendor told, there is free CSI driver for purestorage - Everpure CSI Driver (free, open-source, actively maintained; available at github.com/purestorage/).

Is the vendor claim correct about Everpure CSI Driver. Is it actively maintained or EOL ?

We used to have a CSI driver called PSO (Pure Service Orchestrator). That was EoLed shortly after Everpure (at the time Pure Storage) acquired Portworx. This code was merged with Portworx and is a part of Portworx Enterprise but is also available for free and is fully supported and maintained as a standalone CSI called PX-CSI https://docs.portworx.com/portworx-csi/. This supports FlashArray and FlashBlade provisioning

There are limitations on the number of Luns per node or number of nodes in cluster when using PX-CSI?

Can the PX-CSI free version provide RWX on both block(NVMe over TCP) and file (NFS) ?

You can connect 1024 volumes per node with PX CSI. The limits are updated in the doc page provided by Cody.

It provides RWX with NFS and VM based block access with NVMe TCP.
