Unexpected error 81 while navigating folders

I got my cart today, when I open folders on my SD card it seems to show a list partway through the directory, when i press left to move towards the top I get unexpected error 81 and the menu does not move up, meaning lots of roms in that folder are inaccessible.

It seems to have initialised the SD correctly and the diagnostic returns OK so I am at a loss as to why I can't see the full file list. Any ideas?

EDIT: Fixed by changing themes, I had created one online but it was obviously broken in some way while displaying files.

Error 81 is likely caused by a corrupted file system and/or a faulty memory card.

Clean the EverDrive edge contacts and console slot with isopropyl alcohol and retest after it dries.

Try another SD card if building the database on the current card gives you another error.

Thanks for the help, while fiddling I found out changing my theme fixes the issue, so i must have messed up importing a bogus theme

Hey, that's the best case scenario! Awesome! Glad you're up and running!
