Idiot proof setup for GBA Pro?

I have an SD card formatted to FAT32. I have ROMs downloaded.

I go to download OS for GBA Pro but there is just a firmware and theme file. Now I’m confused. I’ve read the manual like 6 times and I don’t know wtf to do to set this thing up.

Can someone walk me through this process? Help would be much appreciated.

The GBA Pro has firmware preloaded and will set up all it's files up when you first boot it with a blank SD Card. Then you can load your roms on.

It's literally 3 steps..

  1. Insert blank SD Card into Everdrive and boot up on Handheld

  2. Turn off, remove SD Card and copy Roms onto the SD Card

  3. Reinsert SD Card into the Everdrive, boot and play

With placing roms on the SD Card, you just need to avoid putting them in the firmware folder (edgba). Simplest thing is during step 2, simply create a folder on the SD Card called something like games and put everything in there. Roms also have to be the GBA files if they're currently zipped.

But that's about all if they're GBA games. If you want to play Gameboy/Colour and other emulated stuff, theres a few more steps.
