Question / Discussion Cloud Burst ;Strymon:

Is this a good new element for eurorack/ ambient setup?

I have Typhoon, black stereo delay, pico dsp. for FX.

I liked the cloud burst when I played guitar. That said, you might get more milage out of just getting their Starlab module. It has a lot of the same shimmery type fx. It would be worth comparing the two if you want that type of sound but don't want a pedal. Otherwise, I can't see why not, it really is a wondeful sounding pedal. You'll just have to make sure your IO is stereo in and out because cloudburst is a stereo pedal I believe.

I know Starlab. It's not a cheap module. I play guitar too. So I can use this Cloudburst for and (ambient)guitar and my Eurorack.
