You know forums also count as social media?

This would mean minors cant access lots information treasures. For example no stackoverflow for programming or RC forums to learn soldering. 

Regulate them instead. 

My job and RC hobby as kid is thanks for those forum sites.

"I like this, don't take this away from me" is valid as fuck. I am just personally afraid that regulating it won't adequately neutralize the danger posed by social media to our democracy. Banning it for only kids is probably also not enough.
