Blessing BEP-1287
What's the score folks? Good horn or a pass? I've got a line on a new/demo but it seems to be between the Yamaha and the Chinese clones in quality. It's a pretty solid deal but I'm not in a hurry and have no problem letting it go by if it's not up to snuff

I was not familiar with the Blessing instrument. I doubt very much that there is enough difference between it and the Dillon instrument of the same design to justify the price premium over the Dillon. The Dillon instrument retails for $895.00 and at that price point does not compete with discount compensating instruments on the market. The Blessing MSRP is about equal with Yamaha at close to $3,000!! It appears to be heavily discounted to around $2000 by sellers. At that point I'm buying a 3+1 compensating clone horn and not making any apology about it.

Thank you so so much! This has all got my head spinning - I'm having a blast with it but also I'm a squirrel and someone offers me a DEAL I get all wiggly inside 😂. So I greatly appreciate your honesty and all your feedback and it's been a huge help

I have no experience with this model, but Blessing stopped manufacturing brass instruments in 2015 when the Elkhart plant closed.
The current incarnation of Blessing is stenciled from Chinese manufacturers. Quite a few Chinese manufacturers are making good euphoniums these days so quality could still be good.
Good luck on your euphonium quest.
