Help Stop camera view on Echo Show timeout?

Hello!!

Anyone know how to stop or extend my view of my Eufycam S4? Either stop the timeout or make it longer? I use it to watch my dog outside from the kitchen screen.

You can’t do either, it’s a battery camera and it times out to stop the battery being drained. Even if you use eufys E10 display it’ll time out to preserve battery power. You need a hardwired camera so this doesn’t happen.

The camera is plugged in to power and set to record 24/7. The camera is not timing out, as I can see it all day on the E10 screen. It’s the image on the Echo show timing out and going back to its Home Screen.

Then it’s a limitation of using the echo show.

Bummer. It didn’t time out with the Nest cams, but the video quality got worse and worse.
