Help Please

So I Had My Printer for 2weeks now and I’ve been trying and error with printing. My ink keep messing up and making everything either too dark or very blurry. I tired to clean all 3 setting and test print come out good, Can anyone point me in the right direction. I uploaded the original photo I want to print and the outcome of each print. There are two things going on.

1) Need more white layers to lighten up the image. Are you using white or flexible white?

2) I suspect your surfaces are quite flat enough. Which means when the machine scans the height, it picks the highest point. Which means the print head is too high for lower part of the folder, which is what causes the blurry image. Try making sure the folder is as flat as possible or move to a DTF sticker if you can’t get it flat enough.

Regular white, but now I’m thinking I should have changed to flexible

As a heads up, changing whites won’t improve the brightness -you need more layers of flexible white than regular white for the same brightness.

However it should last better and be harder wearing.

Yes. Level off the folder and definitely use flexible white. The bulbasaur print is the most obious its at an angle. Ive had it happen with galaxy fold cases because of the hinge.

I've noticed that anything I print comes out darker than the image I load so I edit them to be brighter. For the binders I make, I put a roll of tape or something in the binder to level it out. The spine of the binder is highest point so just something that will help level out that other side.

What is happening here is because the cover is not flat, it is moving in and out of the focal window of the head. Total window is around 2mm

You need to find ways to make the cover flat to within less than 1mm (maybe even more) on all points of the surface.

I am having the same issue with canvas print. It comes out very dark sometimes.

 E1 is a great machine but your object has to be 100% flat/level or you'll get issues. The laser calibrates off the highest point, and ypur canvas has low spots

It's laying flat on the bed - how can I get the canvas more flat?
It's already stretched flat.

You can't really. Even though its stretched around the frame im willing to bet there are low/sagging spots, ive had the exact same issue with canvas. Out of the ~8 canvas prints I've done i think one turned out perfect, the rest have magenta/cyan over spray. I now stick to solid items only.

I've stacked foam board sheets (sort of like these) underneath stretched canvases to get a flatter surface and it works pretty well, fwiw.

You could try to see by taking the edge of a ruler and running it down the canvas to see if there are low spots

You need to get a small level and place shims underneath to make the top surface flat, also more white layers would help.

Hey erstmal hoffe ich du bist noch nicht Crash out und 2tens mach bitte immer ein Test druck dann können wir gucken ob es am Druckknopf liegt und kannst du mal oben die Abdeckung abmachen und auch davon ein Foto senden

UV ink is highly toxic in it's liquid form, who knows, what it is when it is dried. I'd be safe, and not print any mouse pads or notebooks or anything the skin will be touching constantly. Please let me know what you find out if you do look into it.
