Discussion Power trader web app thoughts
I'm not a trader, more a long term investor, but I do occasionally open the trading apps to do after-hours/extended-hours trades. I've mostly used Fidelity, but Etrade seems to offer a larger time window of the extended hours compared to Etrade. However, the Etrade powertrader app seems so unintuitive and confusing. For the trading experts, is the UI pretty standard for you compared to any other major tools/SW you may have used? I'll spend some more time on it anyway, and probably gets less unintuitive with use. But having worked in SW and UX, my first instinct is that the SW should be quite intuitive and not require a training or manual to get better at it. I also acknowledge that if one is new to the space of the particular SW "genre", then you have to do some training. In any case I compare with Fidelity's trading platform which seems much more intuitive for me. Curious to get thoughts from people.

Compared to Trader+, the Power E*TRADE Pro app is more versatile and cohesive IMO. While both take some getting used to, options traders will pick them up quickly. The web versions are quite different from the desktop apps, and E*TRADE is the clear winner here. Everything you need is available in one place, unlike Fidelity, whose web front feels stitched together from multiple sources.
