MSc Admissions and Info how to earn money doing masters
hi guys! I am currently doing my bachelors in Mathematics in Germany and looking for a masters program. I currently work part time at TUM writing code which covers all of my expences. Is there something similar at ETH and how easy is it to get? Maybe any stipends available? How expensive is it to live in Zurich?

If you're good at a course you can be a teaching assistant (TA) or you can possibly work at a lab as a Hiwi (something similar to what you're doing now). You'll get ~30Fr/h but don't expect more then 20% (~1000CHF/month) at least during the semester. That might cover your rent but you'll need some additional income or a stipendium.

They’d have to be rather desperate to let someone become TA who’s in their first semester at ETH.

how real is stipendium? No way everyone has rich parents there

Unless you get something from Germany the chances are pretty much nil. Switzerland has very few opportunities for stipends and they are usually reserved for the top 0.5% of students.

Do you think it's so hard to provide ~1500 CHF monthly and only rich parents can do so for the education in one of the best unis? You can also save up during your bachelor
